Marie Campbell, 84, of Gilmer, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. Marie was born December 10, 1938, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Harold Raymond and Sarah Gertrude Cargill Bunt. She worked various jobs locally over the years, and spent her latter years as a homemaker. Marie enjoyed sewing, baking, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen A. Campbell; son, Larry Hewitt; and brother Harold Raymond, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Hewitt, Debra Franco and fiancé Louis Ormsby; sisters, Betty Lou Hoell, Frankie Gammage, Wanda Holcomb, Patricia Sanders; grandchildren, Kenneth Franco and wife, Amy, Andrea Ugalde and husband, Tony, Keith Johnson; great grandchildren, Hannah Ugalde, Rylan Johnson, Haiden Johnson and Akasha Johnson. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Enoch Cemetery. Obit From Croley F. H. Gilmer, TDX.
