Bryan-College Station Eagle, Wed, Jan 06, 1988 Euel R. Collins Snook - Euel R. Collins, 69, of Snook, father of Robert Collins, who owns Slovacek Sausage Co. in Snook, died Monday evening in a Bryan hospital. He was born in Sugartown, LA, and was an inspector and supervisor for the Louisiana Department of Highways in DeRidder for more than 25 years. He had lived in the Snook area for 12 years. Collins was a machinist's mate third class in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Lone Oak Baptist Church near Snook.
