Bio

Vincie Junek Vincie Junek, 89, of Cameron died Sunday, June 19, 2005 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Monica's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Hanus officiating. Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica's Mausoleum. Mrs. Junek, a homemaker and farmer, was born in Milam County on November 23, 1915 to Vaclav and Vince Anna (Petru) Mayer. She was a member of St. Monica's Catholic Church and a member of St. Monica's Altar Society. Her husband, Marvin Joe Junek, preceded her in death in 1977. She is also preceded in death by a granddaughter and six siblings. Survivors include: Son Marvin Joe Junek and wife Carol of Cameron; Brother Charlie Mayer of Buckholts; Sisters Agnes McKittrick of Cameron, Martha Stuhff of Las Vegas; Grandsons Ricky Junek, Don Junek and wife Shelly; Great grandchildren Heath, Heather, Collin, Dawson and Kevin.
