ALEXANDRIA Daily Town Talk, 25 February 1976, section A-9 Mrs. Ferguson Mrs. Vasser Mae Ferguson 58, of Slagle died at 9:45 pm Monday in Huey P. Long Memorial Hospital. Survivors included her mother, Mrs. Leora Johnson of Slagle; two brothers, Sam Johnson of Slagle and Fate Johnson of Port Arthur, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Allie Mae Gipson of Port Arthur, Tx., Mrs. Zilmer Mae Leming of Buckeye, Ariz., Mrs. Winnie Lou Stepens of Leesville and Mrs. Tarvee Harris of Alexandria. Services were to be held at 2pm toady in Castor Baptist Church, Leesville. Burial was to be in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson's, Leesville.
