JB Williamson born in Upshur County, Texas on November 27, 1930, passed peacefully at home with his wife and children at his side Friday, March 7, 2008. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Ina (Benton); sons, John and wife Lisa of Powell, OH, Joel and wife Brenda of Dublin, OH; daughter, Rachel Pace and husband Bryan of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Hannah and David Williamson; brother Harold Williamson, Utica, OH; cousin Bobby Jean Tucker, Texarkana, TX; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, F. Ann and Larry Bailey, Westerville, OH, and nephew Tim Bailey, Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by parents, John and Bulah, three brothers and two sisters. Served in the U.S. Air Force. Retired from Battelle Memorial Institute. Member of Center Pointe Church, 2505 Hyde Rd., Grove City, OH (one block north of Broadway/I-270 Interchange) where a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008. Pastor John Karlson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Private interment Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to HomeReach Hospice so they may continue to support other families in their time of need, 3595 Olentangy River Rd., Columbus, OH 43214.
