Military information for Oscar Clark. WW1; He served in the US Navy, joined April 18, 1917 & was discharged August 1, 1923. WW11; He joined the US Army, August 9, 1941 and was discharged January 31, 1947 according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Married Thelma Louise Robinson May 15, 1953 in Bradley County, Tennessee. Obituary; CLARK, OSCAR R. --- Age 90 a resident of Knoxville passed away Tuesday at the V.A. Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: wife Thelma Clark; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 -8 p.m. Thursday, Funeral services 8 p.m. at Mynatt’s Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday for interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Mynatt’s Funeral Home, Knoxville in charge of arrangements.
