The M'Alester News-Capital, page 2. McAlester, Oklahoma Tuesday, March 26, 1963 Centenarian Taken by Death KIOWA - William A. Aldridge , 101-year-old early day pioneer of Kiowa, died in a McAlester nursing home Monday, Born in Fannin County. Texas, Aug. 9, 1861, Aldridge came to Kiowa from Texas in 1900. He. farmed until his retirement. He was a member of the Harvest Time Tabernacle, Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Linn , Pico Riveria, Calif, and Beulah Derryberry , Kiowa; one son. Hugh Aldridge , Yettum, Calif. 14 grandchlidren and a host of great, great, and great great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, Funeral services are pending; They will be announced later by Mills Humphrey Funeral home.
