"Mrs. Nadine B. Roberts, Savannah, was born Aug. 4, 1920, near Savannah, and died May 19, 1995, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Edwin Lash and the former Lillian Finchum. Mrs. Roberts was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ira and Cecil Lash. She was married Oct. 12, 1935, in Troy, Kan., to James Daniel Roberts, who survives of the home. Mrs. Roberts had resided most of her life in Savannah. She was a member of the Christian Church, Savannah, and attended Savannah High School. Mrs. Roberts had been employed for several years as a clerk with the former Hilton's Five & Dime Store and the former Ben Franklin Store, both of Savannah. She was employed for 37 years with the former Brant's Fabrics, retiring in 1979. She was an accomplished seamstress. Other survivors include a son, Ronnie Roberts of Savannah; a daughter, Jodi Boswell of Parker, Colo.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 22 in the Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Savannah with interment in the Savannah Cemetery."
