Bio
Rex W. Marshall, 63, of Aurora formerly of Grand Island went to celebrate his birthday with Jesus on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 to 7 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Adam Snoberger will officiate. Rex was born on March 29, 1960 at Ord, NE, son of Charles and Wynonna Marshall. He graduated from Ord High School and moved to Grand Island when he turned 21 and was welcomed into Mid Nebraska Individual Service home and employed by the warehouse. Rex found many friends and caregivers that became family. Rex was involved in the Special Olympics, Wednesday Group and enjoyed bowling. He was a lifelong fan of Elvis and an impressive Elvis impersonator. "Love Me Tender" was his favorite to sign for karaoke night. Rex had a joyful view on life and he gave the best hugs. He is survived by brother, Ron Marshall of Ord; along with numerous friends and family from MNIS. Rex was preceded in death by his parents.
