Bio

Hilda J. Eilers, 96, of Wichita Falls passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Lunn's Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jack Jordan officiating. Private Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home. Mrs. Eilers was born Sept. 22, 1911, in Priddy, Texas, to Bruno and Sophia Pinkert. She had been a resident of Wichita Falls since 1967, coming from Hale Center, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of Fairway Baptist Church. Mrs., Eilers grew up in Hamilton County, Texas, with 12 brothers and sisters. She married Walter F. Eilers on July 10, 1927, in Pottsville, Texas, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on July 1, 1986. Her parents; a son, Elvie; and all of her brothers and sisters also, preceded her in death. Survivors include twin daughters, Faydine Kayser and husband Leland, Nadine Stowe and husband Bill of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandsons, Kent and Ricky Kaser, Stacey Stowe and wife Stacy (all of Wichita Falls), Jason Stowe of Plano, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Adam Stowe & Kenlee Kaser. The family extends thanks to the staff of American Hospice for the love and care given to Hilda. The family will be at Lunn's from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday for visitation.
