Bio
Elmer "Leon" Leonard, 61, a longtime employee of the Birdville school district, went peacefully to be with his Lord Jesus on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, surrounded by all his loving family. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Memorials: American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, 1200 Boyd Road, Azle, Texas 76020. Elmer was a beloved son, husband, dad, papa, brother, brother-in-law, co-worker, and employee who touched every life with which he came in contact. He is gone from this earth but will never be forgotten. He will be forever missed. A special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who touched and blessed his life.
