Obituaries Catherine Quinn (February 19, 1926 - November 13, 2010) Catherine "Martine" "Baird" Quinn, 84, went to be with her Lord Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 in Bay City. She was born on Feb. 19, 1926 in Windthorst, Tx. To the late Nicholas and Veronica Simons Martine. A devout Christian, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was faithful to God and all those she loved and who loved and needed her. She graduated from Raymondville High School Class of '45. She was an assistant librarian in the high school library. Survived by her children; Guy "Tony" Baird, Jr. , Vicki Baird Smith, Larry Baird, Bill Quinn; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Martine; sisters, Agnes Delue, Theresa Kennedy, Mary Kuhn, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Guy A. Baird and Horace Quinn; her parents; her son, Douglas Baird. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 from 6:30p.m. till 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:30 P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery.
