Bio

Katherine McKenna Mrs. Katherine McKenna, 258 West Thirty-First street, died at ?:15 p.m., Monday, in Mercy Hospital, following a one-month illness. Born Jan. 31, 1874, at Bellevue, Ia., she later moved to Davenport where she resided for 35 years. The former Katherine [Erpelding] married Tom McKenna, Feb. 15, 1896, in Bellevue, Ia. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ida Thiebeau, Milwaukee, Wis.; three sons, Walter, Ralph, Ervell, all of Davenport; three grandchildren and one great- grandchild. A daughter, Mrs. Guy Finley, died Nov. 1, 1949. Mrs. McKenna was a member of the Davenport Catholic Women's league. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. in the Halligan chapel, and at 9 in St. Anthony's church. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial park. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 p.m. in the Halligan chapel.
