Source: Daily Ardmoreite • RINGLING -- Graveside services for Nora Mae Taylor Sullivan, 98, Oklahoma City, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dixie Cemetery, north of Ringling. Mrs. Sullivan was born April 26, 1903, in Rockwall County, Texas, to Dave and Ella Taylor. She died Sept. 9, 2001. She married Joseph Edgar Sullivan on Feb. 25, 1920, at Ringling, and they were longtime proprietors of a grocery store in Fox in addition to owning Sullivan Drilling Company. They moved to Oklahoma in 1968. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Claude; a brother; two sisters; and a granddaughter. Survivors include a son, Joseph Jr., Oklahoma City; four daughters, Anne Platner, Bartlesville, Dorothy Sullivan, of the home, Lois Snyder, Temple, Texas, and Mary Henson, Oklahoma City; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Brookwood Baptist Church, 8921 S. Walker, Oklahoma City. Smith and Sons Mortuary will direct services.
