Bio

Daughter of Frank and Pearl M. (Brewton) King. Marriage: Jacob A. "Jake" McEvoy in July 1937, Alabama. Marriage: James Henry Helm in November 1945, recorded in Nueces County, Texas. She was a resident of the Corpus Christi area for 25 years. She was survived by her son, Francis A. McEvoy of Corpus Christi and two sisters, Edna Bromley of Corpus Christi and Mary McKennzy of Robertsdale, Alabama. Burial will be at Seaside Memorial Park. (Corpus Christi Caller-Times, Texas, November 23, 1992)
