Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Meta M. Johnston of Sand Springs, Howard County, who died Friday afternoon at 5:50 in a Big Springs hospital were held Sunday afternoon at 3 pm at the Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home chapel. The services were conducted by the Rev. W. L. Ludlow of Palestine, burial was in the Davis Cemetery. Survivors are her husband, Herman Johnston, Sand Springs; two daughters, Eloise, 4, and Jenace, 2; one son Jimmie Jack, 6; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Schumacher of Baxter; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Harris and Mrs. Addie Wylie of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Pauline Wilson of Athens, and nine uncles and aunts.
