January 15, 1948 ~ February 22, 2023 (age 75) Stephen Michael Williams, 75, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born January 15, 1948 in Houston, TX to the late John Wesley Williams, Jr. and Jackie Maureen Monk Williams. After graduating high school Steve honorably served his country in the US Army. He went on to make his career as a software engineer with Itron Inc. Steve was devoted to his wife Carol and together they enjoyed many trips to Disney World. He will be missed by his family and church friends. A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church, 3305 Old Milburnie Road, Raleigh, NC 27616 with Rev. Dr. Will Sealer officiating. Steve will be inurned 2:00 pm, Monday, March 6, 2023 at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with his wife who passed away on December 27, 2022. He is survived by his son, David Williams and wife Cheryl; brothers: Rodney Williams and Timothy Williams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Heatherington Williams. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church. Published by L.
