Bio
Lillian Jo Wells passed away on Wednesday, August 31st in Mokelumne Hill, California after a short illness. Born Lillian Jo Brodie in Texas November 13th, 1934, she was a long time resident of Boulder Creek, California and was married to Hal Wells, former golf pro at the Boulder Creek Country Club. Lillian's first marriage was to John Walker of Oklahoma. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Harold Wells, her brother Eddie Brodie and her sons Jimmy Walker and Jason Wells. Lillian is survived by her sister Pat Holden, her brother Michael Brodie, her daughter Rita Lacey, step daughter Marilyn Wells, and son Tim Wells. Lillian was a great baker and cheesecakes were her specialty. She enjoyed golfing with her friends, walking and spending time with her family, including her three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. There will be a Friday night viewing from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and services starting Saturday the 10th at 11:00 am at Santa Cruz Memorial's Mission Chapel on 1927 Ocean Street. Donations recommended to the Hemophilia Foundation.
