Bio

Frances L. Moore, 84, of Waco, passed away Feb. 29, 2008, at a local retirement home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 3, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., with the Rev. Kenneth Wooley officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at the funeral home. Frances was born on in Eddy, Texas, to the late Everet and Ada Ann Marcle Johnson. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and especially her two beloved dogs, "Little Bit" and "Crissy". She was a seamstress for a garment manufacturer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Moore; son, William Moore and his wife, Betty; brothers, Obert Johnson, E.W. Johnson, William R. Johnson, Vetis Wooley, Allie Connally and Dessie Bond; sister, Elizabeth Johnson; and sister-in-law, Joyce Martin. Frances is survived by her sons, Jerry Martin, of Waco, Thomas Martin and wife, Dana, of Little River, and Ronnie Martin and wife, Jeanette, of Waco; daughter, Darlene Smith and husband, Kenneth, of Waco; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brother C.T.
