Joyce Dean Dollar July 30, 1937 - February 18, 2023 Downs Funeral Home A graveside service for Joyce Dean Dollar, 85, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Woodlawn Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 20, 2023, at Downs Funeral Home. Joyce was born on July 30, 1937, in Winnsboro, Texas to Henry Jackson Price and Bessie May Johnson and passed away on February 18, 2023, in Marshall, Texas. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. She was homemaker along with being an avid crafts person. She loved the outdoors and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bessie Price; her husband of 66 years, Gay Dollar; sons, Tommy Lynn Dollar and Rickey Dollar; brothers, Henry Lee Price and Jerry Price and infant sister, Dorthie May Price. She was survived by children, Carolyn Dollar, Tina Patterson and Billy Dollar; sisters, Louise Jones and Patricia Reed; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with numerous other family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her name to Woodlawn Baptist Church.
