Bio

Robert Thomas Darsey, Sr. was the son of Tom John Darsey and Nellie Florence Keltz Darsey. He farmed and ranched on the Darsey Farm in the Whitestar Community in NW Motley County, TX. He married Anne Winifred Estes on Feb. 23, 1936, in Lubbock, TX. At the time of his death in 1970, he lived in Matador, TX. Robert and Winifred's children are Beverly Joanne Darsey Stevens and Robert Thomas Darsey, Jr. Their grandchildren are Robert Thomas "Bert" Darsey III and Gary Dumont Darsey. Their great-grandaughter, Joleigh Mae Darsey, was born August 7, 2007, to Bert & Leigh Ann Darsey.
