Word comes to us that Mrs. Homer Wineinger, formerly of this place but later of Grant City, passed away at a St. Joseph hospital last Saturday evening, having been taken to St. Joseph that morning. Lillian Effie Wineinger, daughter of Franklin Pierce and Amanda Celeste McConnell, was born June 20, 1884 in Grand River, Iowa and died June 22, 1916 in St. Joseph, Missouri at 6 p.m. from a ruptured tubal pregnancy at the age of 33 years and 2 days. Burial in Grand River, Iowa, June 23, 1918. Informant was her husband, Home Wineinger.
Missouri digital death certificate. Lillian Effie McConnell married Home Wineinger on August 21, 1908 in Mount Ayr, Iowa. They had one child, Richard.
