Bio

Duncan Banner, Sun., Feb. 14, 1988 Comanche - SOPHIA MARIE STEWART, 69, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1988, in a Duncan hospital after a lengthy illness. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Comanche Church of Christ, with Eddie Lee officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home. She was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Comanche. She was a homemaker, and a lifelong resident of Comanche. Survivors include two sons, Billy Duggan of Houston, and William Lester of Cleveland, Texas; two sisters, Neva Young of Comanche, and Mae Brimmer of Detroit; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Members of the church will serve as bearers.
