Bio
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sandra A. Tiedt Tomanec, a life- long resident of La Grange, Tx. She was born on November 13, 1951 to the parents of Carlie Tiedt and Ruby (Michael) Kovar. She gained her wings to soar on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 68. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Bernard Jr., only child: Tracy Hughett and husband Brett, her best companion Soxy; Mother: Ruby Kovar; one sister: Kathy Tiedt; two brothers: Jeffery Tiedt and Ronnie Tiedt all of La Grange, Tx. She will also be dearly missed by her special friends Polly Supak and Carol Svrcek. She was the owner of That's My Style retail store for 32 years, where the employees and customers became extended family. Her love for fashion and décor extended well into her years of retirement. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Church in La Grange and a member of Catholic Daughters Court Annunciation #1962. She lived her life by this quote: Don't cry over the past, it's gone. Don't stress about the future, it hasn't arrived. Live in the present and make it BEAUTIFUL. She was predeceased by her Father, Carlie Tiedt, her In-Laws Delores and Bernard Tomanec, Sr. The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Borgstedte, Dr. George and the entire Medical Team at St. David's South Austin Hospital for their care and compassion.
