Bonita "Bonnie" Kocurek, 69, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008. She was born on December 6, 1938 in Utica, Mississippi. Bonnie was a homemaker, avid bowler and an Avon representative. She served as a Judge for the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Homemaking Division for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Kocurek and father, Henry Adkins. She is survived by children, Jerry Kocurek and Becky Kocurek; mother, Helen Adkins; two sisters, Jean (Ed) Hill and Henrietta (Victor) Reynolds; brother, Rick (Margarite) Adkins; grandchildren, Lee Ann Garza, Chris and Courtney Jones, Dustin Searcy, Benjamin Kocurek, Mitchell Kocurek and Matthew Kocurek; numerous nieces and nephews. Services held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Burial followed at Robstown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jerry Kocurek, George Picha, Tommy Kocurek, Chris Jones, Lance Reynolds and Frank Iwanski. Honorary Pallbearers: Courtney Jones, Dustin Searcy, Benjamin Kocurek, Mitchell Kocurek and Matthew Kocurek.
