Children: Dorothy Claire (Godwin) Hall, Patricia (Godwin) Wallace, and son Beverly Godwin Served as a Chief Shipfitter in the US Navy Reserves in World War II serving from 13 Oct 1943-4 Jan 1946, with AA T SV6 They moved to Americus Georgia by 1950, where he was an Office Manager for a Tractor company
