James Randall "Randy" Webster was born June 21, 1957 in Linden, Texas. He departed this life at the age of 65, on January 23, 2023. Randy was a 1975 graduate of Linden-Kildare High School. He retired from Swepco/AEP as Plant Superintendent over Operations with 33 years of service. Randy loved to live the simple life, spending most of his time enjoying music and the great outdoors of Texas. Randy is preceded in death by parents, Howard and Mildred Webster; brother, Rusty Webster; in-laws, Panfilo and Joaquina Martinez; brother-in-law, Orlando Martinez; grandparents, aunts and uncles. Randy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Irene Webster of Linden; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Mariah Webster of Nacogdoches; sister Gail (Randy) Beeman of Longview; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends of Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas that will all miss him dearly. Rosary service will be 6-6:30 p.m. Friday, January 27 with the visitation to follow, 6:30-8 p.m. Both will be at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden, Texas. Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson, Texas. Interment to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
