Mary Lee Hamilton December 26, 1935 ~ January 24, 2023 (age 87) Sullivan Funeral Home Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Hamilton, age 87, of Marshall, will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Travis Street Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Mary Lee Hamilton was born December 26, 1935 in Newkirk, OK to Mr. Elmer Dougherty and Mrs. Ruby Marie Wise. She passed from this life January 24, 2023 in Jefferson, TX surrounded by her loving family. Mary was deeply and unconditionally loved by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was kind hearted, feisty, and devoted to the ones she loved. Mary enjoyed fishing, hunting at the deer lease, playing cards and dominoes, watching Westerns, eating sweets and spending time with her family. Gone before her are her first husband, Mr. Clarence Jones; Mary would go on to remarry and spend 52 wonderful years before losing her loving husband Mr. Ronnie Hamilton. Mary is also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Jones; her daughter, Donna Quada; and two grandchildren, Bobby Lee Jones, and Lori Quada Parrot. Left to cherish her memory are her children: daughters, Ronda Perez, Debbie Lucas and husband Michael, Sandra Young and husband David; and son, Lex Jones and wife Bonnie, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and beloved friends. Mrs. Mary Lee Hamilton is dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Serving as Pallbearers are David Jones, Chris Perez, Michael Lucas, Jr., Matthew Lucas, Tallon Stevens, and Jesse Starr. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff at HeartsWay Hospice and all of her amazing care givers for their exceptional love and care of Mrs. Mary in this time.
