See photo on 1st wife Rebecca for what is believed to be the base of Daniel's headstone gone missing before the 2004 survey. From that photo caption by photographer C Wilson 1-2014: According to the "Tuck" inventory (updated in 2004), stone monuments were in place for both Rebecca Walling and E.A. Walling, reportedly the 1st & 2nd wives of Daniel Walling. This is the stone marking the resting place of E.A. Walling. During a search January 2014, a stone for Rebecca Walling was not found; however there are two bases which originally anchored stone tablets in an adjoining space (shown here ... one in the shadow & one just outside the shadow of the monument). The tablets themselves are gone; but one or the other was likely the marker for Rebecca Walling. It's believed the other base was the marker for Daniel, ks. From photo request on Rebecca by Gaila (49394295) 11-2018: I'm looking for Daniel Walling, husband of Rebecca M. (Gist) Walling & Elizabeth Ann (Moody). Since both women are buried in the same cemetery, I think he is too. Thanks for your help. Gist 18 August 1842 in White Co. TN. Rebecca died 21 Jan 1888 and was buried here in Greenwood Cemetery. Daniel married Elizabeth Ann Moody 17 August 1890 in Hopkins Co. TX. Elizabeth died 17 Nov 1900 and was buried beside Rebecca here in Greenwood. Almost certainly Daniel is the other grave beside Rebecca and Elizabeth.
