Bio

The Rev. Ralph S. Gwin, became a minister in 1928 and was a member of the United Methodist North Indiana Conference and served churches in that area. He had served the Burlington, Ball Hill and Darwin churches in Carroll County and was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Mulberry. Indiana. He was first married in 1914 to Evah Liptrap, who died in 1956. His second marriage was in 1957 to Edna Sickler. Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Verl (Alice) Wagoner and Esther Gwin, one son, Oliver J. Gwin, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Carroll County Comet, Wed., Sept. 8, 1976 His father was Ancel Beecher Gwin.
