Ellinger, Suzanne Marie, age 86, of Waterford, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022, with loving family at her side. Suzanne was born in Rockford, Illinois on January 24, 1936, the daughter of the late Earl and Frances I. (nee. LaForge) Francis. Suzanne spent her early life in Rockford, moving to Oak Park before settling with her family in Adams-Friendship, Wisconsin. On November 28, 1953, she married Dale Rathbun Ellinger. The couple lived in the Territory of Alaska for a brief time, settling in Wisconsin. Suzanne was a florist for most of her working life, and a Girl Scout leader for years. Her favorite hobbies were quilting and miniatures. Her pride and joy was her doll house. Sadly, missed by her devoted husband Dale, and two daughters, Merri, and Elaine. Suzanne is survived by her husband Dale, children, Merri (Tom) Cvetan, and Elaine Ellinger; grandchildren, Tyler (Kelly), Patrick, and Zach (Megan); and by her siblings, John (Susan) Francis, Pat (Fred) Holmes, and Mike Francis. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jean (Dick) Nolan, Steve Francis, and Carol Langer. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
