Bio
Major William Charles Podsednik, USAF Retired, of Burke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the age of 70. A loving husband to his wife of 52 years, Gina Podsednik; and father to his sons, Chad Podsednik and wife Wendy, and Todd Podsednik and wife Charity. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Podsednik, and his brother, Larry Podsednik. In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by his mother Willie Mae Podsednik; his eight grandchildren, Cassia, Kellie, Asher, John, Matt, Samantha, Jack and Oz; his sister Cynthia Bollerman and husband Everett; his sister-in-law Kathy Podsednik; and many nieces, cousins, family and friends. Above all, Will's life and legacy, is one that starts and ends with his faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus. While no funeral or memorial service is immediately planned, the family plans to have a service in both Virginia and Texas and will notify loved ones when they are scheduled. We thank you for mourning with us, as we only now see through a glass dimly and in part; however, we request you also rejoice with us, confident that Will is no longer suffering but is face to face with our Lord, experiencing the fullness of His presence.
