OBITUARY: Mrs. Lydia Bateman , 17 Nov 1947 - Smith County, TX Funeral Today For Mrs. Lydia Bateman Funeral Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Henry's Chapel between Troup and Carlile for Mrs. Lydia Bateman, 74, lifelong resident of Smith County who died at her Arp home Monday afternoon after suffering a heart attack. Rev. William E. Lee will officiate and burial will be in Henry's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Burks-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home. Her survivors include her husband, Jim Bateman; and one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Masters of Beaumont.
