Graveside services for Lucille Draughon Stone, 89, of Georgetown, are scheduled for 10 am Thursday, Feb 21 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Johnny Anders officiating. Burial is under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral home. Edith Lucille Draughon Stone, a lovely new rose, blooms in God's garden today. She passed into his arms, Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008. She was born Aug. 26, 1918, to W.W. & Mamie Draughon. They preceded her in death, along with her beloved husband, Bill Stone; brothers, Ed Draughon & Harold Draughon; and sister Fay Draughon. She is survived by her two daughers, Tanna Bass and husband Ron of Waco, and Deann Tidwell and husband Jerry of Georgetown; brothers, Virgil Draughon of Whitehouse and Hoyle Draughon of Cedar Creek; sister, Nell Johnson of Scurry; grandsons, Chris Cameron, Jerry Tidwell, Jr., H.K. Tidwell; granddaughters, Marissa Stanfield and Shanna Prewitt; fout great-grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces and dear friends who celebrate her life and mourn her passing.
