Bio

Ruby Kelley Smith, 87, of Wichita Falls, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist with Rev. Bill Pursley, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Ruby was born December 13, 1924 in Hannah, Oklahoma to the late Howard and Myrtle (Kemp) Kelley. She worked for Dr. Eugene Brock and Dr. Kent Toler as a Certified Dental Assistant. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde F. Smith in 1997; and her granddaughter, Lisa Shook. She is survived by her sons, Frank Smith and wife Sandra of Wichita Falls, and Don Smith and wife Janet of Iowa Park; her daughter, Judy Boaz of Iowa Park; three sisters, Margie Orso of Benbrook, Neta Seddlak of Flint, Michigan, and Betty Dunn of Crowley; a brother, Larry McGarty of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Owens & Brumley Funeral Home and Cremation Center Wichita Falls, Texas
