Angelina Nedbalek - El Campo Leader-News, The - (Jan/13/2007) - Angelina Nedbalek Angelina "Angie" Nedbalek of Blessing, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007. She was born March 11, 1918 in Engle to Valentine and Stephania Bucek Kubecka. She worked hard all her life as a governess and housekeeper. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and mowing her lawn until her early 80's. Survivors include her sisters, Steffie Kahanek of Ganado and Georgia Kircher of Houston; nieces who were dear to her, Diane Machlan, Delores Norton and Marie Wood all of El Campo and Patsy Wagnon of La.; and step-daughter-Betty Blocker of Midfield. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie Nedbalek ; sisters, Lillian Wilson of El Campo and Martha Curtis of Houston; and brother, August Kubecka of Ganado. Funeral Services are today, Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Triska Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Storey officiating. Burial will follow at Hawley Cemetery near Blessing. Pallbearers are Matt Hildebrand, Dwayne Schilhab, Anthony Labay, Dan Murphy, Daniel Murphy and Shane Tyler. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Support, Inc., P.O. Box 1417, El Campo, Texas 77437 or donor?s choice. The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice, Gulf Coast Medical Center, and the Czech Catholic Home for the Aged.
