Sylvia June Larson November 17, 1946 ~ October 23, 2019 (age 72) Sylvia June (Eckhardt) Larson, 72 of Torrington, WY, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, after a short battle with cancer. At her wishes, she passed away at her home. Sylvia's hobbies included crafts, painting and gardening. She enjoyed socializing outside of home, and also just a simple trip to a store to buy something for her grandchildren. She did have a big heart for caring for others. She may not have been able to help someone with money but always made them feel special with flowers picked from her yard or something she had made. Sylvia was preceded in death by her mother, Ada "Opal" and father, Louie Walter Eckhardt; six brothers and three sisters: Frankie, Roy, Wanda, Willard Lee, Bill, Richard, Rodger, Loretta, and Lynda. Sylvia was survived by her daughter Summer (Lowry) Kelley and her husband Patrick Kelley of Torrington; and her two beautiful grandbabies, Diamond and Scout Kelley; two brothers Danny Eckhardt of Torrington, WY and Rodney Eckhardt of Bonneville, WY; one sister, Annetta (Eckhardt) Bentley of Lakewood, CO and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews along with other family and friends. Sylvia did not want any services, but we will be having a gathering for family and friends at Lifeway Church, 1341 E. M St., Torrington, WY. Food will be provided. ~No matter what happens, "Take Your Faith to Heaven."
