Twile enjoyed golf and socializing with her many friends she made after moving to the desert. In 1946 she married Homer H. Thompson and had 4 children. Twile and Homer resided for many years in Fremont, NE where their children were born and raised. Homer was active in the Shriner organization and Twile was a member of the Daughters of the Nile for many years. In addition to raising 4 children, Twile also played piano and taught piano lessons in her home for 25 years. She and her husband were big Nebraska Cornhusker fans and attended many home games through the years. Twile was preceded in death by her husband, Homer II; and her son Homer III. She is survived by her son, Thomas Thompson; daughters, Gay Emry and Candice Evans; 2 son-in-laws, David Emry and Steve Evans.
