Mary Wallace of Hughes Springs, Texas passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 85. She was born on February 21,1937 to Robert and Viola Bertie (Skieens) Steele in Wright City, Oklahoma. Mary married Roland Holley Wallace on May 25, 1955 in Loving, New Mexico. Mary is survived by her daughters, Karen Pritchett and husband Douglas of Gilmer, Texas, Kathy Johnson and Husband Rodney of Hughes Springs, Texas, Wade Wallace and wife Nicole of Midlothian, Texas, Michelle McKelvey and husband Robert of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Melissa Engler and husband Joe of Houston, Texas, Brandon Pritchett of Longview, Texas, Cameron Pritchett of Gilmer, Texas, Aaron Curtis and wife Nicki of Omaha, Texas, Jon Curtis and wife Morgan of Creston, North Carolina, Andrew Curtis of Waxahachie, Texas, Rebeka Johnson of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Samuel Johnson and Chelsea of Burkburnette, Texas, Elise Wallace of Mesquite, Texas, Robert Wallace and wife Feliza of Mesquite, Texas, Rachel Newsom and husband Cole of Arlington, Texas and Matthew Miles of Forth Worth, Texas; great-grandchildren, Jonah, Lincoln, Oliver, Thomas, Luke, Teagan, Kayden, Jamie, and Tate and sister, Elaine Johnson and husband Howard. She is Preceded in death by her husband, Roland Holley Wallace; siblings, Laverne Sepulveda, Orville Steele, Leon Steele, Winnie Steele, Ivan Steele, and Elvis Steele A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service Monday morning at the funeral home. A funeral procession will proceed to Wilson Chapel cemetery in Lowry Crossing, Texas.
