Mrs. Verda Lee Cooper March 20, 1940 - November 22, 2022 Mrs. Verda Lee Cooper was a native of Summerdale, Alabama and a resident of Elsanor, Alabama. She passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the age of 82. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Robertsdale Assembly of God. During her lifetime, she held many occupations. She began as a nurse and she retired from Vanity Fair as a seamstress. Mrs. Cooper was an avid outdoors woman who enjoyed gardening and sharing her bounty with others. She also liked to fish and hunt. Mrs. Cooper was a devoted and loving grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Cooper and son, Curtis Blocker. She is survived by two daughters, Connie D. McHenry (Danny), Denise Mills (Greg), three sons, Johnie M. "Yogi" Cooper (Wendy), Wade Cooper, Wayne Cooper (Barbara), 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from the Robertsdale Assembly of God with Rev. Michael Lynn officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale, Alabama. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
