Jimmy Larry Mills, 68, of Sumner, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at his home. The family has scheduled a memorial graveside service for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26th at Garretts Bluff Cemetery. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Larry, the son of Jesse L. Mills & Margie Leotta Moore Mills, was born June 9, 1954, in Paris, TX. He attended schools at Garretts Bluff, Paris, and Tulia. Larry was an excellent mechanic and a jack-of-all-trades. If he didn't know how to "fix" something, he'd figure it out. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Jimmy Larry Mills II, and siblings, Vivian Mills, Lanny D. Mills, Tony Mills, James Ray Mills, and Terry Lynn Mills. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Harris Mills, children, James Ryan Mills, Jacob Cole Mills, Lacosta Danielle Whitley, Shaunda Askins, and Adrea Whitley, grandchildren, Ashley Askins, Cobin Whitley, Tyler Watson, Brylea Farrar, Doni Lee Mills, Mahaleigh Whitley, and Sierra Whitley, a great grandchild, Cienna Whitley, two sisters, Cathey Mills and Tina Boswell, and a brother-in-law & sisters-in-law, Billy & Billie Harris, Pam Mills, and Tanya Harris along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
