Hendricks-Martin, 88, of Palacios, died Thursday, June 23, 2005. She was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Schulenburg, to the late James Frank and Bertha Gerhing Michna. She was a former Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Palacios and a retired member of the Pink Ladies Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors: daughter, Joanna Hendricks of Palacios; son, Robert Wayne Hendricks of El Campo; and one granddaughter. Preceded in death by: husbands, Robert Garland Hendricks Jr. and Dallas Martin; brother, LeRoy Michna; and granddaughter, Sheli Jo Hendricks. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Palacios, the Revs. Andy Blair and Janell Blair officiating. Burial will be at Hawley Cemetery. Palacios Funeral Home, Palacios, 361-972-2012.
