Fort Bend Herald, December 29, 2015: Martha Kaderka Zrubek, 99, passed away Thursday December 24, 2015. Martha was born April 20, 1916 in Granger Texas to Frances (Pustka) and Emil Vitek. She married Emil C. Kaderka in 1933; they had three wonderful sons, Richard, Emil and Darvin. She became a widow in 1958 and married Emil Zrubek in 1969. Martha enjoyed cooking and never needed a recipe for anything; she is remembered for her delicious chicken soup, kolaches and donuts. She was an established seamstress and continued to sew in her later years. Martha worked very hard throughout her life passing on her strong work ethic to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Frances (Pustka) Vitek; her sisters, Evelyn Kaderka and Ollie Mitchell; her husbands, Emil Kaderka and Emil Zrubek; her son, Darvin Kaderka; and her daughter-in-law, Julia Kaderka. She is survived by her children, Richard Kaderka and wife Betty and Emil Kaderka; her daughter-in-law, Linda Kaderka; her step children Anne Hall, Patsy Decker, and Robert Zrubek; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 29, from 6pm-8pm at Condra Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 10 am at SS. Cyril & Methodious Catholic Church in Granger, TX. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers will be Bryan Kaderka, Darrell Kaderka, Kelly Kaderka, Tim Kaderka, Chad Hanson, and Jason Hanson.
