PEARL A. THIEL (NEE HOFFMAN) CROWN POINT, IN Pearl A. Thiel (nee Hoffman), age 94, of Crown Point, IN passed away on May 5, 2016. She is survived by her loving children: James (late Patricia) Thiel, Dennis (Lou Ann) Thiel, Donald Thiel, Kenneth (Debbie) Thiel, Jerome Thiel, Darlene (Dale) Dionne, Debra (Bill) Shearer, and Jeanine (Dan) Kranc; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Donald Hoffman and Francis Hoffman; sisters: Marcella Hoshaw and Rosemary Hortyk; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Herbert. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 12:00 noon from the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy, Schererville (Rt. 30 East of Cline Ave.) with 12:30 PM Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael Catholic Church in Schererville with Rev. Martin Dobrzynski officiating. At rest, St. Michael Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with Pearl's family on Monday from 4:00- 8:00PM at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home. Wake prayer service will be held at 4:30 PM. Pearl was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and St. Michael's Rosary Sodality.
