Irene Ella Zwahr,95, of Danbury passed from this life peacefully April 17,2A22, with her family by her side. Irene was born to Martin and Julia Schulz on May 6, L926. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ernest, her daughter Kathryn, and her sister Beatrice Toll. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Korenek and husband Alan, sisters Delta Schneider, Donna Issleib and husband Elroy brother Martin Schulz, Jr. and wife Judy, brother-in-law Jimmy Zwafu, grandchildren Brandon Korenek and wife Christina, Amber Baldwin and husband Troy, great-grandchild Bradden Korenek, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Irene loved the Lord and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love was one of a kind, that's for sure. If cleanliness is next to godliness, then Granny had that down pat. She will always be remembered for her high-pitched fasttalking voice, her beautiful yard, and yellow daylilies. She had a way of giving you a nickname if you were around her very long. Some of the lucky ones were Piggy, Brun Brun, Krenk-Crank, Sparrow tail, Mousy, Silver Fox, The Gypsy Lady, Sweet Thang, Crissy, Whistle Britches, The Land Baron, Dickie, Foxy, Leslico, Bricey, Shiny Teeth, Fuzzy, and Daddy Long-Legs. Pallbearers will be Bradden Korenek, Dennis Chaloupka, Glen Weise, Leslie Hall, Cole Fiel and BrentZwafu. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service starting at 1l:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22,2022, at Palms Funeral Home. Burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Rosenberg at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapels and Cemeteries.
