Martha Frances (Kurtz) Sykora - Obituary Martha K. Sykora, 76, died Wednesday, October 19, 1994 in a local hospital follwing a sudden illness. She was a member of of St. Pius X Catholic Church, a homemaker, and had lived in Corpua Christi for the past fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sykora in 1989. Surivors include one daughter: Annette Carpenter of Isanti, Minnesota; two sons: Raymond J. and Randolph L. Sykora both of Corpus Christi; one brother: Jonn Kurtz of Shiner, Texas; one sistar: Maty Tichovsky of Gonzales, Texas; four grandsons: Paul and (Bridget) Carpenter, Ryan, Joel and David Carpenter; and granddaughter: Colette Carpenter. Visitation will begin at 12 noon Friday, October 21, 1994 with a Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. that same evening at the Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 1994 at St. Pius X Catholic Churrch. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery. Maxwell P.
