Patricia Dell Wheeler, age 85, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 in Rio Rancho, NM. Patricia was born on July 22, 1937 and lived an exciting life. Pat spent over 40 years in Colorado where she was once named Outstanding Woman of the Century. Pat was involved in her church community along with many activities and organizations. When her husband, Don and she retired to her home of New Mexico, Pat continued her involvement in many organizations including PEO, Republic Women and was once the New Mexico State and Regional Director for the Miss High School/Collegiate Pageants. Throughout her life she was known to be a "social butterfly." Pat will always be remembered for her beauty, both inside and out, her outrageous sense of humor and her devotion to her family and friends. Pat is survived by her two daughters, Sherry and Teresa, who will both miss her dearly. Patricia was also blessed with three grandchildren, Darrin, Sara and Bryan. Services will be held at Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church in Rio Rancho at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022. "Now I can relax. For the Lord has done this wonderful miracle for me." Psalms 116:7
