Margaret Ann Johnson of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on October 15, 2022, in Guthrie. She was born on October 27, 1932, in Quinton, Oklahoma to Seth and Flora (Handcock) Thompson. Margaret was an avid quilter, helping ladies in the Guthrie area finish their creations. She was active in the First Capital Quilt Guild, where she helped with many donations to worthy causes in the Guthrie area. Margaret was recognized many times by the Territorial Riders for her contributions and support. Margaret was active in HCE and volunteered at Mercy Hospital. She was a member of the Noble Avenue Baptist Church in Guthrie. Margaret was preceded in passing by her husband Thurman (Jeff) to whom she was married 53 years. She is survived by her daughter Margie Smith and husband George of Reno, NV and son Kenneth Johnson of Guthrie. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
