Bio

There is some confusion over the Darter Cemetery in Rogersville, Hawkins County, TN and where it is located. I might also add that there might be more than one Darter Cemetery and they are supposedly on private land(s). My main goal was to create the memorial so that families could complete their links for the children of Rev. Stephen Darter and Rachel Martha George. They were married June 19, 1855 in Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee and they had nine children (Henderson C, Loudema, Matilda A., Hiram Ray, Julia Ann, Mary Elizabeth, Rachel Margaret, Sarah Ellen and Stephen A. Jr) in the years from 1856-1872. Stephen's parents Michael and Catherine Darter were married in 1812 in Hawkins County, Tennessee which indicates how long this family was settled there.
