PAMPA - Julia "Aunt Jute" Williams, 90, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Jericho Cemetery of Donley County. Mrs. Williams was born in Gray County. She attended Wagner School in Wheeler. She farmed in Wheeler County. In 1975 she moved to Pampa from Mobeetie. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was active in the Home Demonstration Club of Mobeetie. She married John Earl Williams in 1938 at Canadian. He died in 1986. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Betty Morgan of Fritch; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065; or First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1981, Pampa, TX 79066-1981. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 15, 2000
